Join us for a fun and creative afternoon Saturday, March 28 from 2:00–4:00 PM at Matterhorn Apothecary in Turner, Maine with Artist Sue!
We’ll be painting beautiful lighted mason jars that you get to take home. Light them up for a cozy glow or use them as a decorative jar for your flowers or herbs 🌿✨
It’s the perfect time to relax, get creative, and hang out. Bring your besties and come make something magical together!

Fungi & Fabric
Stephanie has a deep love and respect for mushrooms and has been working with them since 2008. She is extremely knowledgeable and has led many classes here at Matterhorn over the years.
Join us for a cozy, creative gathering exploring natural color, slow craft, and the beauty of working with fungi. This is an intentional, earth-based, hands-on process using mushrooms to create rich, natural tones on fabric.
In this class, you’ll learn the basics of dyeing with mushrooms, including:
What mushrooms can be used for dyeing
Helpful tips for identifying them
Where and when to find them
What’s included:
Take home your own mushroom-dyed scarf you create during class

Mushroom Foraging Walk
Join us for a guided mushroom foraging walk with Stephanie from Elevate! We’ll meet at Matterhorn Apothecary at 11:00 AM, then drive to a nearby foraging location (site still to be confirmed). This is a great opportunity to learn about wild fungi in Maine and connect with others in the community.
